# Telegram Bot (@ReplyCorpBot)

ReplyCorp provides a Telegram bot (**@ReplyCorpBot**) that serves as an AI-powered setup assistant and campaign management tool. You can interact with it in a Telegram group linked to your organization or via direct messages after pairing.

### Getting Started with the Bot

1. **Add @ReplyCorpBot to your Telegram group** -- A ReplyCorp admin will link the group to your organization using `/createorg` or `/setorg`.
2. **Pair for DM access** -- Run `/pair` in your linked group to receive a pairing code, then send that code to the bot in a direct message. This enables private 1-on-1 assistance for 72 hours.
3. **Chat with the AI assistant** -- Once paired, send any message to the bot (in DMs or @mention it in the group) to get help with integration questions, configuration, and troubleshooting.

### Disclosure Rules (`/disclosure`)

Brands can view and update a campaign's disclosure rules directly from their linked group (or paired DM) — no admin access required. The campaign argument accepts an ID or a name/slug match.

| Subcommand | Example | Effect |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| *(none)* | `/disclosure summer-promo` | Show current disclosure rules + AI screening status |
| `require-toggle <on\|off>` | `/disclosure summer-promo require-toggle on` | Require X's native paid-promotion toggle on posts |
| `toggle-passes <on\|off>` | `/disclosure summer-promo toggle-passes on` | Treat the paid-promotion toggle as satisfying screening (skip the LLM check) |
| `format <text\|clear>` | `/disclosure summer-promo format Use #ad` | Set or clear the disclosure format hint |
| `require-add <phrase>` | `/disclosure summer-promo require-add #ad` | Add a required phrase |
| `require-remove <phrase>` | `/disclosure summer-promo require-remove #ad` | Remove a required phrase |
| `ban-add <phrase>` | `/disclosure summer-promo ban-add guaranteed returns` | Add a banned phrase |
| `ban-remove <phrase>` | `/disclosure summer-promo ban-remove guaranteed returns` | Remove a banned phrase |

> **Note:** The AI disclosure (LLM) screening itself is a product-wide setting controlled by ReplyCorp and applies to all **ACTIVE** campaigns — brands cannot toggle it. `/disclosure` shows it as a read-only ON/OFF indicator. Brands control the paid-promotion toggle requirements and the required/banned phrase + format rules.

### AI Setup Assistant

The bot includes an AI-powered setup assistant that can answer integration questions, help troubleshoot issues, and generate tailored integration guides. It works in both group chats (when @mentioned or replied to) and DMs (after pairing). The assistant has context about your organization and campaigns, making it a useful companion throughout the integration process.

### Message Buffering & Context Gathering

When added to a group (with privacy mode off), the bot buffers non-command messages. Admins can use `/gathercontext` to summarize recent group discussions into AI context, which improves the assistant's understanding of your project and use case.
